Mujeeb Rahman, a 22-year-old from Nangarhar, Afghanistan suffered a fracture of his skull when he was hit by police as he and his brother tried to sneak on a truck headed for England. When they were spotted, police beat the two young men with batons ultimately resulting in Mujeeb’s serious injury. The young man lay in coma for over a month and has been hospitalized for more than three months. Besides missing part of his skullcap from the surgery, Mujeeb still suffers from mental issues that he is slowly recovering from.
