An adolescent refugee from Kuwait is thinking over a cigarette while sunlight breaks into his makeshift shelter in the 'jungle’ of Calais, France. His family grew up stateless on the border between Iraq and Kuwait. Without papers, they were neglected and pushed away by either country and are now trying to connect with family members in the UK in hope for a better life.
